I support Nowzad at all the events I attend, either by selling their
merchandise or items that have been kindly donated.

I also hold a few charity events for Nowzad through the year.

About Nowzad
Nowzad is a charity set up to relieve the suffering of animals, predominantly stray and abandoned dogs, cats and donkeys in need of care and attention.
They provide and maintain rescue facilities for the care and treatment of these animals.

The life of Afghan animals is not one of comfort at the best of times; most of the day is spent hunting for scraps of food or hiding from the hot desert sun during the summer or the freezing cold of a desert winter night. There is definitely no pampered pet status in Afghanistan.

The Nowzad Dogs charity has been formed to do something positive for the cats, dogs and other animals of Afghanistan that have no hope and nobody to care for them. They realise they cannot transport all of the stray dogs of Afghanistan and to loving homes, but they will do their best to promote animal welfare and to assist in vital animal aid work that is so desperately needed in Afghanistan.

All money donated goes directly to helping the animals of Afghanistan.

How You Can Help
Stamps
Do you get lots of mail? Nowzad can turn your used stamps into money! Just make sure the stamps have a small piece of the envelope around them as a border but no more than 4mm otherwise the Nowzad Dogs team have to sit there and do it! To make life easier, please wait until you have a large pile of used stamps before sending them.

Bras
Nowzad can recycle bras for cash! Collect up all those unwanted bras, no matter the condition as long as they are clean!!

Please package bras or stamps up and send to:

Nowzad Dogs
PO Box 39

Alternatively you can give them to me at any of the events I attend (see events page) or post them to me if this is easier.  Contact me for details.
