Saturday 1st December 2012
HALLMARK HOTEL, Bournemouth

This event was a sell out.
See below for details about the day.
TALK
Sgt. Pen Farthing, founder of Nowzad dogs gave the talk.
He talked about the nonprofit organization founded in the UK, and expanding to the U.S., which rescues stray dogs, cats, and donkeys from the war-torn streets of Afghanistan. Nowzad rehabilitates the animals and finds them new homes in safe environments around the world.

Pen Farthing also talked about his efforts on behalf of Afghani animals and his book entitled,
One Dog at a Time: the determination of one man to make a difference for the strays of Afghanistan.

We also collected used postage stamps, empty ink cartridges and unwanted bra's too
All these will be turned into much needed cash. I took 15kg of bras over from Cyprus!

For more information on how you can donate these
items and other ways you can help please go to www.nowzad.com
